![]() I am wrapping up regression testing for the version 9 upgrade, and I noticed the phone fields now have a Skype click-to-call hyperlink. Let me know how it goes because I'm interested in what works for you. Maybe googling how to set it up may help you take it down. ![]() Hmm, I'm not sure because we are working on trying to get it turned on (with Jabber) but I'm sure I'll know in a couple months. Could it be referencing a different protocol? There is nothing set as a default for the TEL protocol though (screenshot below). Am I missing something?Ĭould this is be a protocol setting in windows?ĭefault App Settings -> Choose Default Apps by Protocol -> and the protocol Tel: is that set to skype? I restarted my browser, cleared my cache, logged in as system administrator and base users, but nothing seems to work. I toggled the Enable presence for the system option to Yes and No, but in both cases, the phone numbers were active links. ![]() I just want this to appear as text and would prefer not duplicating the values to a text-only field (as some have suggested in other forums). All the (older) javascript solutions I found online do not appear to work.I do not see any browser add-ons creating th links. In the System Settings > General tab, there is a "Set the telephony provider" section which allows me to toggle between (1) Skype and (2) Skype for Business / Lync, but there is no off option. We are not currently using Skype, and I have not been able to find a way to disable this in the system. To disable click Settings > Administration > System Settings and on the General tab, Set the IM presence option to Yes or No. Subject: Disable Skype Click-to-Call Links
